Chinese manufacturer supplies residential heat pump kits to Europe

Sprsun has developed a compact heat pump that is said to be easier and faster to install. The product is equipped with a 3 kW/220 V electric heater, a water pump, a 5 liter expansion tank, a three-way valve and an 18 A AC contactor.
Chinese heat pump supplier Guangzhou Sprsun New Energy Technology Development Co Ltd (Sprsun) is currently targeting the European market to boost sales of its residential heat pump kits.
“The SPRSUN heat pump kit is an all-in-one component kit that contains almost everything needed to install an all-in-one heat pump, including pumps, valves, filters, electrical boxes, extension boxes, switches,” said a company representative. . told PV magazine. “It’s designed to save customers time and money when installing a heat pump.”
pv magazine’s print issue pv magazine looks at the Asia-Pacific solar energy market, considering how cross-border connectivity can increase resource efficiency, as well as the key role of microgrids in further PV deployments. We also review plans by Italian energy group Enel to build a plant in Sicily Tango, which is part of Europe’s attempt to boost energy security through domestic solar energy supply chains.
The current issue of pv focuses on the Asia-Pacific solar energy market, looking at how cross-border connectivity can improve resource efficiency, as well as the key role that microgrids can play in the future deployment of photovoltaic systems. According to the manufacturer, this kit can also be used in conjunction with rooftop photovoltaic panels, as long as the solar panel provides a stable voltage to the heat pump. “As long as there is a stable voltage source that meets our heat pump requirements, this kit will work,” the spokesperson said.
Monoblock heat pumps are available in two versions with different RCDs for 32 A and 40 A and weighing 34 kg and 36 kg respectively.
Both units measure 600 mm x 290 mm x 825 mm and have a cable length of 7 m. They are all equipped with a 3 kW/220 V electric heater, a water pump, a 5 liter expansion tank, a 3-way valve and an 18 A AC contactor.
“The kit also supports R32 inverter DC heat pumps, which greatly saves customers time and money when installing heat pumps,” the spokesperson said.
The company headquarters is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. The company currently sells heat pumps in more than 60 countries.
