Here’s a detailed breakdown of how Woods took Saturday’s first-round PNC Championship victory.
Tiger took the rider to the last hole of the day and took him to the middle of the fairway, giving him a chance to hit two holes on the available par 5.
From 242 yards, Tiger landed a high shot with a long iron that moved to the left corner of the green. He leaned forward in anticipation as the ball flew through the air; he grabbed the green, let go and dropped down, leaving an eagle attempt from 25 feet.
Charlie’s shot had no intention of sending the eagle a short distance, and his shot was fast, but slipped to the left, 8 feet from the hole.
