Italian company Hidros Spa has established a UK sales and technical support organization for its heat pump, chiller and dehumidifier products.
The UK is seen as one of the most important markets for its products, targeting both the commercial and industrial sectors.
They have appointed Maurice Diamond as UK and Ireland general manager.Maurice is a graduate chartered engineer with previous roles as Product Manager at Quartz, Commercial Director at Glen Dimplex Environmental and Managing Director at BL Manufacturing.
The company also announced the establishment of a nationwide sales network, with all agents trained in the product and its application.
In addition, a technical support network has been established to provide all commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance requirements and is managed by Hidros.
Their range of heat pumps includes water and air source units ranging in size from 6kW to 500kW.It is primarily designed for commercial applications and utilizes EVI technology and controls to provide the level of sophistication required to achieve optimum efficiency in such applications.
They can be fully integrated with the building BMS.Additionally, they can offer a hybrid heat pump, which is primarily an air source unit, but also has a small ground source exchanger for maintaining COP in low ambient conditions.
Chillers range in size from 4kW to 1 MW, utilize scroll and screw compressors, and offer a variety of refrigerant options.There are indoor (machine room, duct) and external installation designs.These units contain all the features expected from a leading chiller manufacturer.
Dehumidifiers based on the refrigerant cycle are original products made by Hidros and they have developed a number of products in this field.Products cover portable dehumidification, standard dehumidification, cold storage dehumidification, swimming pool dehumidification and full swimming pool environmental control.
