Europe: Daikin Applied will launch a new R32 product-R32 small inverter chiller in its Bluevolution product portfolio.
The R32 small inverter chiller is entirely manufactured by Daikin’s factory in Cecina, Italy. The power ranges from 16kW to 91kW. It is planned to be launched in November 2021.
In addition to the modular control system, the new heat pump also performs 100% speed control on all scroll compressors, fan motors and optional pumps.
The new chiller is suitable for various cooling and heating requirements. The flow temperature during heating is +60°C, and the flow temperature in cooling mode is -15°C. SEER is as high as 5.4 and SCOP is as high as 4.1.
It can also switch between standard and boost mode. In the boost mode, the chiller buffers any peak load by achieving above-average performance while increasing the compressor speed, thereby avoiding oversize selection.
Pipe connections can be used to increase installation possibilities, for example in city centre locations or underground garages. It can also provide heating for domestic water. In addition to the environmental benefits of using lower GWP refrigerants, the use of R32 in a small inverter chiller achieves an optimized layout of the heat exchanger, making the chiller particularly compact and reducing the required installation area.
